Research Interests:

My research is focused on the cognitive mechanisms and representations involved in the process of language production. My most important research lines are the following:

1. The production and comprehension of syntactic structures in both monolinguals and bilinguals, focusing on (a) the processing of agreement relations; and (b) the nature of syntactic priming effects;
2. The language selection mechanisms during bilingual speech production.
