How to Uninstall Software on a MAC with Self Service

  1. You can only uninstall software with Self Service if it was originally installed with Self Service. To see if your software was installed with Self Service, open Self Service from the icon on your dock or from your Applications folder.
  2. On the right side of the Self Service window click on the Uninstall Existing Software text link.

  3. You will see a list of applications that have already been installed on your MAC using Self Service.  All the applications listed can be removed from your MAC with Self Service.  Click on either the gray Remove or Uninstall button below each application's name to queue an application to be uninstalled.  Some applications will have a Remove button and some will have an Uninstall button. Both buttons do the same thing and will uninstall the software listed.
