Yifei Gong is a graduate student in Cognitive Psychology and Language Science of the Bilingualism and Linguistic Diversity Lab. Her research interests center on the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying bilingualism. Before joining Penn State, she pursued a Masterโs in Linguistics at Lanzhou University, China, where she examined the relationship between domain-general cognitive control and language control in Tibetan multilingual speakers from Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Through her graduate research at Penn State, she aims to explore the bilingual brain using both neurophysiological techniques and behavioral methods.
