Research Interests

Typical and atypical language development; children, adolescents, and adults with developmental language disorder; cognitive processes in communication disorders, with emphasis on processing speed, memory, attention, and perceptual processing in children and adults with language disorders; bilingual language development and processing.  My lab uses behavioral and neurophysiological methods to study these topics.

Research Opportunities

Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to work in my laboratory as volunteers or in independent study. Assistance is often needed in the summer. Students may be involved in collection, coding, or analysis of data from current research projects.
