Login to Virtual Desktop

If you are not signed into your Penn State account, you will be asked to do so. Signed in users will be taken to Step 5.

If you are not currently logged in, you will be asked to do so and authenticate with two factor authentication

Once you are logged in, you will see this screen. If you select “Yes” and check, “Don’t show this again,” you will not see this screen again.

Once you hit “Yes,” you will see this screen. Select ‘Apps’ from the top menu.

In the Apps tab, you will select ‘Cloud-Apps-GPU’

  • This will bring up a pop-up. If you do not already have the Virtual Desktop client installed, it will ask you to do so. Please follow our “Configure the Virtual Desktop” guides if you need to. If you have it downloaded, you can select “LAUNCH”‭.‬
  • This will bring up a final pop-up asking if you would like to open the VMWare Horizon Client 32-bit. If you check the box to “Always allow psu.workspaceoneaccess.com to open links on your computer,” the virtual desktop will start automatically next time.
  • For now, hit the “Open VMWare Horizon Client 32-bit” button.
